WE UNDERSTAND YOUR BUSINESS
This is the most critical of all the processes we handle. During this stage, we receive your goods, inform you regarding which and how many products we received and make sure they end up in the right location in our warehouse.
Based on your purchase orders, we process incoming goods via barcode scanning, so you can get to work on releasing the first deliveries to your business and private clients.
During the reception process, we can – if necessary – send your products straight to the Value Added Services (VAS) department for steaming, pricing or other activities.
We have a modern, sprinkler-equipped and properly secured warehouse that offers everything we and you need. This warehouse is set up specifically to facilitate our omnichannel services:
We conduct regular inventory checks using sample testing, cycle counts and – if you like – even wall-to-wall counts. Your inventory is in safe hands with our stock control team, who keep a close eye on everything.
We have multiple concurrent picking processes in place to properly manage your product streams, from large B2B orders and B2B re-orders to B2C orders of different (quantities of) products. Some orders can be sent straight to the checkout department for packaging, while batch orders (multiple orders at the same time) are sent to the slide-tray sorting machine that sorts products neatly and accurately.
All our employees are equipped with a lightweight finger scanner and an iPod or iPad, which shows them the relevant work instructions and minimises errors in the order-picking process.
Our checkout (packing) department is one of the last departments in which your order is closely inspected – sometimes literally, using a magnifying glass on our packing tables that are equipped with fish-eye cameras. Everything can be recorded – from adding your giveaways to packing your B2C order to make it look like a present and recording evidence that all products ordered were actually packaged and shipped out.
Of course, we can also handle all transport to your business clients and private online customers throughout Europe and far beyond. You can choose your preferred transport solution or leave the choice to us. We collaborate with every transport provider imaginable, which means we can make all your (transport) wishes come true. Our transport department regularly conducts inspections of your order profile and the performance of the transport providers we use to continuously safeguard – and even improve – our quality of service.
This is a process that we all do our best to avoid, yet it remains as important as ever. Whether it concerns returns from business clients or webshop orders, we process all returned goods with unparalleled speed and quality. Our goal is to give your customer their money back quickly, but most of all to get the returned product added back to your inventory, ready for resale, as soon as possible. If necessary, the Value Added Service department will be brought in to restore your product to the high-level quality you and your customers expect.
